Bilco Group Pty Ltd is a modular construction company based in Denmark, Western Australia, operating since 2011. The business delivers residential and commercial projects across WA, including staff accommodation, lifestyle villages, granny flats, caravan parks, and mining camps.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Welder to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop (Fabrication) Duties:

• Fabrication of steel components, including:
  • Structural wall frames (light gauge and structural steel)
  • Roof trusses and associated framing elements
  • Pergola structures and architectural steel features
  • Steel chassis and base frames for modular or prefabricated buildings
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
• MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to Australian Standards
• Cutting, shaping, assembling and welding steel components
• Maintaining dimensional accuracy and quality control of fabricated items

Site (Installation) Duties:

• Installation of prefabricated wall frames, roof trusses, pergolas, and steel structures
• Reading and interpreting site plans and coordinating with supervisors and other trades
• Carrying out on site welding, fitting, and adjustments
• Ensuring alignment, fixing, and structural integrity during installation
• Working safely at heights when required

Selection Criteria

• Driver’s licence (essential)
• Forklift licence (preferred)

This is a full-time position based in Denmark, with work conducted both in the workshop and on-site across WA.
